Son Parc Car Hire, Menorca
Son Parc is a secluded resort on the rugged north coast of Menorca approximately 12 miles from Mahon.
Accommodation is in self catering apartments, privately owned villas and there are three apart hotels.
This small resort has only one main street where you will find most of the bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
If you happen to be a golfer Son Parc is the ideal base for you as this is where the only golf course on the island is located, recently extended to 18 holes.
The beach at Son Parc is a major attraction with fine sands, a variety of water sports and a beach bar. Sun beds, parasols and pedalos can be hired and there are lifeguards in attendance. At the western end of the beach the sand shelves quite steeply in the sea and you could be out of your depth quite quickly however at the eastern side it is possible to walk into the sea for a couple of hundred yards before the water gets deep.
Entertainment is mainly hotel based with a small number of lively bars in the summer months.
There is a limited bus service from Son Parc and car hire is recommended.
